This is just ridiculous. The really sad thing is it doesn’t shock me in the least. Baseball, like other sports is desperate for all forms of income possible. The only thing that shocks me is that MLB hasn’t taken the step of adding adds to uniforms. Yet..
Oh, and professional know-it-all and media whore Ralph Nader is already jumping all over it.
It's a disgrace. But, I won't be able to boycott so I'll just have to live with it. Yes, uniform ads and big logos on the outfield grass can't be far away (although the big logos might be too much of a distraction to fielders).
Soccer teams in Europe don't bother mentioning their teams' names on their uniforms. Just big ads across their players' chests.
